Even as a child, I was a dreamer. I conjoured up my own dreams and created a world of my own. At the same time, I was this sensible kid. In the family, I always spent time with aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a comfortable atmosphere. My parents always encoureged open-relationships. As a child, I was exposed to alot of music at home. My brother put on tapes, he'd record some. Mostly pop music. My mother listened to Hindi songs.Later on,I also learnt Hindustani Classical and Carnatic music.I loved music and dance.I was inclined to the fine art right from the beginning. We watched films as kids, but not excessively.I loved to watch Chayageet on Doordarshan and all the hindi films. I was enthralled of the magic of cinema even back then. Biology and Zoology were my favorite subjects, but I didnt see myself making a career in medicane. I took up architecture and then developed a love for it as I was studying it. At the time of the Miss India contest, I was 19, just past my Class XII. The contestants knew me as, Aishwarya Rai the model.Therefore, they thought, I was miss-know-it-all because of my experience.The contest gave me a chance to find myself. I had my fair share of attention right from childhood.Thats why I have never felt the need to grab it.If you see my body language, I always have one shoulder raised.That means, Im taking things in, listening to what others have to say not screaming for attention.Im enjoying every moment of being in films.Its addictive.My life would not be same without them
