um... student, geography major though i have no interest
in the going into field (im not even sure what the field
is, which is said since i've been here a couple years).
I'm a new york times junky, i give it about 90 minutes a
day. i love reading Krugman and Kristof.
I spent a year doing student organizing around pubnlic
education issues, some times activist but ig et
discouraged. part time musician but i suck, i do a lot of
youth theatre. i do a lot of things so i kind of suck
at all of them. but its an impressively broad suckiness,
so thats something.
I love philadelphia, going to chill bars, hiking in
fairmount park, late night drives, anything quiet and
chill and with other people.

people coming over my house. Someone
invited Justin. He comes up to me in
the hallway and looking at me intensely
says "my coming over means we are
friends now." Intimidated at first, it
wasn't until years later that I
understood the reason for his
intensity. Justin takes his
friendships very seriously. After 6
years of enjoying his humor,
conversation, and desire to help those
he cares about, I really appreciate
that.
memory that fades into street
protests.. Justin is
everywhere...awesome!
Justin. :) Absolutely great at
dissecting the mind, understanding the
heart, and contemplating the soul.
Justin has got much to say, and it's
always an experience to listen. An
awesome friend to have and an awfully
fun - and funny - person to chill with.
doesn't return your phone calls unless
he needs to barrow money... just
kidding. he's a stand up guy who is
equally at home organizing for
educational access and skipping class
to go drinking.
Thomas' friends list. He is considered
2-armed and very dangerous. He help me
to break out of my asian-fetish and see
there is fruit in all races. I am
forever indebted to him.
off of my friends list, didn't you!?
Argh! Do you know how many hours it
took to track down all of those people,
how many endless night of combing my
personal network to find these
buddies!? And you just ripped them off
of my friends list, like some kind of,
um, guy who, ah, takes peoples, er...
Okay well anyway, Justin's a good
friend and a great person. Our
friendship goes way back to high
school, and I consider him one of my
closest friends. But, you know, not
like that. Some of Justin's favorite
past-times include dressing us as the
Joker, being Don Ribbon's campign
manager, and carting a van full of
lesbians around West Philadelphia.
He's a great guy to hang out with, and
knows a lot about cool places in
Philly. We were also in a band
together, The Scallywags, which is now
defunct. But yeah, I can't believe you
stole my friends, I mean, Justin's the
man!
start talking to when the sun is up and
completely miss the sunset, and possibly
the sunrise next morning. Insightful,
dependable, and ridiculously funny are
all ways to describe his charms, but
none do him full justice. Plus, I used
to get to hang out with him in fishtown
before it became an international mecca
for psychedelic folk music. how awesome
is that?
