About Me:
A sometimes funny, somewhat smart, pretty goofy English
teacher who loves to read, eat movie popcorn, talk like a
truck driver, take baths and discuss the world's
possibilities. I believe the Land of OZ exists, infact, I
believe that I am indeed a citizen of OZ. I'm just
waiting until my tornado sweeps me home. Found out in
third grade that clicking my heels does NOT send me
there. I'm a good listener, and try to give the most rational advice
available. Word to the wise...I never seem to follow my
own good advice. Seems I can only fix other people's
problems! :) Lately, my prescriptions for all of my friends' problems is 3 glasses of good red wine, a pack of cigarettes and a nap. Well, it works for me. My one problem in my life is that it seems that I will never read all the books I want to before I die. I've been walking around piles of books in my apartment lamenting the fact that some just won't be read by me in this lifetime. Other than that, my life is glorious. Lady Fortuna has spun my upwards!

does. Not only is she insightful, honest,
thoughtful, compassionate, funny as hell
(or funny as balls, as she would say),
but she also happens to be mind-
bogglingly smart. (I don't know if
boggingly is a word, but it is now.) To
top it all off, Stephanie is *cool*. Super
cool. Fun cool. Laid-back-yet-typically-
virgoish cool. True blue kind of cool.
She just embodies every kind of cool
there is. No one else can appreciate my
affinity for bowtie wearing fish, little
yellow dogs on springs, snowbabies
(ahhh, the snowbabies!), Margot
Tenenbaum, and Anne Sexton. Stef
always knows just when to throw
someone a parade, and I think that is
just the absolute best thing ever. Put all
of this great stuff together along with her
knack for accessorizing...and it will just
blow your mind. Seriously. :O)

like you. I have to say that we have
been thru alot over the years and I
would take any of it back. From our
late night ramblings on love, life,
and shopping. To the endless pots of
diner coffee. You have truly come into
your own. This is a girl that can now
stand at the bar and out drink most
people ( except Derm ) and of course
me. I would hope that the future will
allow us to rekindle those great times
especially since I'm going to need you
back as my shrink. Oh and I need to go
and get new pants.
