opera, baroque, classical, latin jazz and blues; Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Cesaria Evora, Dinah Washington, I think Elvis deserves more serious consideration, too!

I'm rather quiet and boring though I have a fantastic,
wicked sense of humor and enjoy the same in others. I live
a very simple but rich and fulfilling life for which I am
grateful. My home is very dear to me. The walls are
painted deep red, green and apricot. It's small but
filled with things I treasure -- photos, artwork, mementoes
and antiques. It has a balcony planted with red geraniums
and all kinds of herbs and lavender, very lovely to sit out
there on a summer's evening and hear the fountain just
below; the Big Dipper is right above. In college I studied
classical civ, art history and historic preservation. I
love to think about the people who came before us -- and
how they expressed the same joys and tribulations of
life that we experience. I am a very content and positive
person, though I don't mind having "blue days" which remind
me I'm alive and kicking.

The people closest to me have a fantastic ability to laugh -
- especially at themselves...they are kind, curious, want
to learn new things and have a very open mind, tending to
lean to the left, they are very smart, they
love animals, some listen to NPR but some do not. They
enjoy the finer things in life but know what is most
important.
