About Me:
I read. and write. and read about writing, and
write about reading, and even write about writing about reading. I
sit in a chair and stare out the window and watch the sun come up,
and go down, and still I read. But its not so bad, because they also
let me teach. So I get to talk about reading and writing as well.
When I do manage to climb out from under the pile of books I like
to eat good food, drink beer or wine or cocktails at the bar with
people that have something to say. I love to dance. I like to sit under the stars and
feel small, climb trees, skinny dip in the sunshine, bake on the
beach, have adventures of all kinds.

Who I Want to Meet:
I want to meet people with passion for life. People who know how to have fun, but
who have learned that if you miss this party, there will another one,
and sometimes the most fun is found where everyone isn't.

Testimonials and Comments for Catherine
Cat rented a parking space behind my
house in Boston and, though she would
often scurry by with payments for my
roommate, we didn't meet until, years later,
in Austin, we both needed a sharp dose of
making fun of people. Gravity did it's thing,
and there we were, in the Dog & Duck,
talking about the seven hundred people we
knew in common. One day, Cat and I will
actually have that lunch we're planning on.
It'll be gorgeous and splendid, and I'll feel
just like Tom Hanks in every movie he ever
did: finally, and ultimately, appreciated.
pretty cool. He lost a lot of weight
recently. He went on Atkins. That was
cool.
often has that super-hot librarian
glasses look going on. Recently
kathleen and cathy were seen sharing a
peeping booth at the lusty lady... I'm
not making this up! I think cathy's an
undiscovered genius, she just needs to
chatter a bit more and discovery will
soon follow. Destined for big things,
this one is.
reason I got the impression that she was
of... less-than-average height. Maybe
it was the table at the restaurant we
were sitting at, I dunno. When I met
her again several days later I realized
she is actually fairly tall. "Maybe
she's not such a bad person after all,"
I thought. Because you know how those
short people can be. Fuckers.
when Dr. Bacon publishes her first
great opus. In the meantime, she's
smart and she's cute and sure not a
snoot. Pretty tough but not gritty.
Did I mention she's knitty?
dancefloor like a pinball. Dancing is
always entertaining with her around.
she's stylish too! way.
girl with long purple braided locks on
the top of her head. This would be
Cathy...a perenial smart ass...and a
wonderful, kookie woman!
