the ability to do hair, but the reason she
would beat me to a pulp in pool is
because she was born with all the
IMPORTANT skills. Everything Katie
touches she turns beautiful. I remember
sitting on the floor in our home in DC
watching her decorate my coloring book
page with vines and flowers galore. I sat
in bewilderment as she turned my
pathetic attempt at staying in the lines
into the most beautiful creation. Katie
also has an innate talent in math-hence
beating me in pool. She continues to kill
the entire family in mind fuck every
single time without hesitation, for her
creativity and mind solving skills are
beyond profound. Katie can turn a bland
paragraph of words into the dreamiest,
most wise compilation of flow because of
her amazing writing talent. Katie will
forever be in inspiration to me, even
though perfection is hard to obtain!
my life that was still innocent. i think of
poetry and laughter, danger, dancing, the zoo,
the bridge in cleavland park, first loves, first
acid trips, telepathic creativity, admiration,
genuine respect. i think of katie as someone
who hails from my hometown and my heart. i
know she is a soul mate and a sister forever.
