Candice, she set up a show for me in Santa
Barbara. I asked her if she had any ideas of fun
things to do in the greater Los Angeles area, and
she sent me a detailed three page list of sites of
interest, including the Madonna Inn where
everything is pink including the sugar.
I lost the list. I had a feeling like we should bake a
cake for Candice before we got to the show, it was
just a feeling like she would deserve it. We didn't
bake a cake, or even buy one. But when we got
there several of Candice's friend's had brought
vegan baked goods, and the event was instantly a
festival, and the feeling of sweets magnetism that I
had intuited about Candice was proven to be
totally right. Yes. Candice is a big YES. One of
the biggest ones I have ever known.

1a.m. or so, after climbing a stretch
figueroa, a little tired, a little
drunk, and little dazed on life in
general, i hear the voice of an angel

helmet on." i looked up to the sky.
nothing. then i looked left. there
was candice, rolling by in her suv.
