        beard, pretty much all of the time actually.
        Life without Doug, is like Doug without a
        beard, it's all weird and scary and you think
        "what's the point, it was much better the other
        way around" Don't ever shave.

      • Doug has way more of an edge than it seems to most people. Apparently, said edge is camouflaged expertly to most of humanity by overgrowth of his beard. What Doug needs is a girl, cognizant of this edge, who he can care about without feeling guilty about, who's a fookin minx in bed, and who's strange enough to complement all of his endearing idiosyncracies, but perfectly normal with regard to all of his less-than-endearing ones. And maybe a therapist. But I think that, to harness the power that so clearly lies at Doug's core, the beard must go. And a goatee is not an acceptable alternative.

      • dougie jsut bought me my first beer in a US
        bar. i am now a woman. and a rock star. just
        like doug... and then we looked at ferrets
        and scorpions, who were cuddled up
        together in what would have been a
        disgustingly cute way, were they not
        poisonous bugs, and maybe something furry
        instead. now that is a serious bonding
        experience

      • Doug doesn't have photograph up
        yet because he is way too sexsy for
        most of the ladies on the network to
        experinece the dudeliness that is
        doug. the first time i met doug he
        was a guest at my lebowski party
        who was also a physics major and i
        was impressed with his ability to
        conitinue listening to my friend Mary
        before passing out!!! Then I found out
        that he wasn't the guy who seduced
        freshmen by giving them wine and
        tutoring them in physics. So I was
        impressed with his lack of
        sketchiness despite the designer
        Guess specs.

      • Doug has been both a friend and a
        teacher to me this year. He's taught
        how to drink a whole bottle of rum
        without puking, how to make a hot bank
        shot in pool, and basically how to
        live like a rock star. He's sort of
        like the Chinese guy from the Karate
        Kid...you know "wax on wax off" "drink
        more beer" and all that shit.
        He fucking rocks my socks. <3 <3 <3

      • Doug is the kind of guy who most people
        would call an "enabler". He's like, "here, AL,
        drink more Jameson!" and I'm like, "Doug, who
        could ever say no to you?" and then I get
        wasted. Completely wasted. Then I'm wasted
        and I'm slurring, "Duuug... joogots morr
        boooz?" and he wouldn't even hesitate to give
        me more, even if it were his last sip. None of
        this, "I think you've had enough" crap that
        other people give me when I start dropping
        my drink and kicking holes in the wall when I
        miss at pool. So to sum up, I like Doug. Oh,
        and he's totally hot.

        shoulder to cry on. he's also always up for a
        beer and a game of pool, and has been
        known to be a shoulder to puke on, so he's
        really covering all the bases here...
