one time, in band camp. no.. wait. one time, in my basement ... shideh and i tried to make perfum out of my moms flowers (from her garden...sneaky sneaky) and we thought we would become rich.
and we spoke in french, probably, as we cooked the flower petals in whatever the mixture was, because, we figured we could move to france (after we became rich) and so we needed to practice our french. I think it was around our third french class ever... so we didn't talk much, actually, as we cooked our stuff.
anyway, we were both thinking of ali and banans, i think, so it was ok.
and, oh yeah, we had locked our little brothers in the other room, so that they would not interfere. :) ahhh, those summer days.

Shideh was my partner in crime in Guatemala, I'm pretty sure together we took over Antigua. She had an amazing ability to find "designer" jeans amongst a market place of crap (and meat), and an amazing ability to walk down the streets looking hot as ever and have every guy stare at her ass. My favorite moment was when Shideh called school and pretended to be my aunt to get me out of class to go shopping. She can dance like no other and made quite the name of herself in the clubs. As amazing as that summer was, what made it truly amazing was finding Shideh. Antigua wouldn't have been anything without you. We NEED to visit each other soon. te quiero Mucho

I miss Shideh! How could you not love a girl who not only stayed friends with you after you snitched on her in the third grade, but also did things like buy you 2 foot tall cards from the dollar store for valentine's day, or make a 6 course meal using nothing but green beans? oh, high school...i'll never forget driving to school in Rusty before her family moved out of South Central to the Woods...

You can come see me in NOLA anytime - but I'm still waiting on that trip to New Mexico...

fan of talking with me last time we bumped
