About Me:
I'm just a queer Xicana/o (yes with an x and an a/o) trying to give it back to the world. I have returned to Albuquerque to go to graduate school in Community & Regional Planning after five years on the East Coast and an almost move to Mexico City. I also was fortunate to spend part of the past summer in Santiago de Chile studying Spanish and Globalization/Economic Development and the impact on education in Chile. My life restarted in 1999 the day I heard a now good friend (yet a stranger at the time) asked at a workshop, "Have we forgotten that we can still have a revolution?" So, that's me, set to have a revolution of minds, hearts and bodies that includes connections to all of the world -- or at least the part that is made visible to me each time when I read a great book, watch PBS (and occasionally the other networks) and when my eyes are opened by the news, email or other media. It gets wider and bigger every day! I like to use exclamation points, dance, eat Thai food (and Mexican -- of course), be silly with friends, and I also love to learn -- reading, classes, teaching, watching movies, listening to people or music. I get power from realizing I am part of something much bigger and older than "me." So, muchos thank yous to my family and ancestors, friends and lovers, and of course the organizing I have learned from UFW, UIUC, HIV/AIDS, LGTIQ (we need more acronyms) and then there's a whole lot more but I don't want to hit you over the head. I'm quiet, when I am not paid to be loud at work, and like to think of myself as polite, crazy, a good friend, a good brother/son/uncle/cousin and someone who needs to eat less meat, do more yoga and -- oh yeah -- FLIRT A LOT MORE!

Who I Want to Meet:
WHO? Well, that's easy, I want to meet people who know a Selena song (or want to learn), drink cafe con leche (or not), dance (or watch me), agree with me (and challenge me too) -- so I guess I am looking for the person/peoples who I realize I cannot live with/without who can "flip my pancake" (thanks Liza)!

Testimonials and Comments for Christopher
cucumber, I'm a cucumber, I'm a
cucumber, I'm a cucumber, please don't
stick me in the pickle jar.
I will only sing that song for Christopher.
So don't even try. <3
happens that Christopher had the honor
of giving birth to me for the third
time to this Korean Mudang Empress (go
google "Mudang" and you'll get the
411). This Tranny is the youngest out
of three -- which allegedly indicates
being spoiled rotten. However, if you
have ever seen or read "Like Water for
Chocolate," the youngest daughter gets
messed up. Seriously though,
Christopher IS THE Big Mama for
empowering and educationg people to
create change...which includes the
butterfly-like transformation of this
tranny. But thankfully, I didn't
inherit my Mama's big feet!
Regardless, I love her to death!! A
warning...if you mess with my mama,
her children will be coming after you
and you will get chopped. We don't
play nicely on the playground with the
other kids.
like a tulip. My life is so much better
with you in it. F.O.C. is my title.
Thank you for (finally) coming to
Ireland and shaking me up a bit. Just
don't shake the baby. It was so good to
have someone so familiar on this
Emerald Isle, where things aren't so
perfect, where I feel like an outsider,
and reminding me that perfect doesn't
exist and that life wouldn't be life if
we all just "fit in." I admire your
ability to keep your spirit free, not
to worry too much, but yet worry and be
so connected to the world. You don't
just ebb and flow with the wave. You
are the wave. You're grand.
milkshake brings all the tranny boys to
the yard." and that pretty much sums
it up. there's just something about
christopher that people find
attractive, appealing, alluring. he
can mock your educational history, get
all up in your personal space when
you're having a crappy day, and not
call you when he said he would, but you
still can't stop lovin' him. he's
totally charming (in a good way),
inspiring, generous, and worthy of much
praise and admiration. get to know
this one, if you haven't already. he's
making the world a much better place.
