About Me:
I'm the capitol of New Mexico, and was founded in 1610. I'm at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the high desert of New Mexico. I'm artsy, pretentious, expensive, filled with tourists, covered in adobe and faux-dobe, and really liberal except when I'm really traditional. All that and I can be a really cool, if often weird, place to live.

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone who will open a new club to replace the Paramount ... So Alegria lasted 5 months? Someone who likes to get out and meet new people. Locals who know where to find the best mixed drinks and tapas any day of the week. People who go out for live music. Folk who throw parties and go to parties. People who bring the rain or snow. Natives, newcomers, transplants and fans of the City Different.

worth the 2000 mile drive.
heard La Bell's went ka-put. R.I.P. to the best
breakfast burritos that Santa Fe Prep has ever
known. Pouring out some green chile for you,
homie.
serio...larry delgado's my primo...
you. Why did we ever part ways? Will you take
me back? Soothe my aching heart with huevos
rancheros? Spare me the agony of red brick and
vitamin D deficiency for the rest of my days?
houses with your sweet white sage,
walking bare foot among the cacti and
glass sharp rocks bordering dried up
rivers. I miss the Yucca monsters under
my bed, the crisp morning air even in
the summer time, I miss the mountain
drives, the cops breathalizers, the texan
tourists , the desert parties, the Bars
(where I met a hot Austrailian, no strings
attached, he's just in town for a few
weeks). I miss you Santa Fe, I miss you
sunsets and day breaks, I miss you
blonde dreads and the best cosmo's at
Bar B. I will see you soon, hopefully, one
day.
of the water, hands down. I 'm comin' back to
you, baby, don't worry...when I retire. And
then I'll spend lots of time on a nice porch
somewhere (an adobe one with blue trim and
plenty of vigas) with a view of your perfect
sunsets and your perfect mountains, as I
always dreamed to spend the final years of
my life, scaring little children on their way to
school: G&T in one fingerless-gloved hand,
waving cane in the other, rambling on about
the world at large which I was sure to see
before I returned to your sweet open arms.
