About Me:
I dabble. I love finding new avenues to experience and often look at life as new challenges to conquer: graduating medical school was an academic peak for me; running the NYC Marathon was a physical one. My friends have referred to me a Jack-of-All-Trades' and Renaissance Man' - I don't know, that actually makes me laugh a little :) . I'm not sure I'm great in any single thing, but I do think I'm pretty good at a number of things: I sang in an a capella group in school, have had some poetry (haiku) published, build my own furniture, am a chef extraordinaire, and know how to shake my groove thing on the dance floor.
I'm pretty easy going and low key...would be as comfortable backpacking as I would be in a four-star hotel; love the corner take out chinese place, and having champagne and truffles on the Riviera. I try to stay current, read as much as I can, and keep politically active and aware.
I'm also an extremely late bloomer. I am continually surprised about the things I am still discovering in myself. Sometime I feel like I'm just coming out of an awkward adolescnece. As I get older, I find a new confidence and independence that I didn't quite have when I was younger. Youth is wasted on the young -- George Bernard Shaw

Testimonials and Comments for Patrick
years, living in an apartment the size
of a broom closet -- sometimes with as
many as two other people -- and we
didn't kill each other. That says
something! It's true he's a great
cook -- and he can put away more rice
than anyone I've ever seen at one
sitting, without ever gaining a pound.
meant to be a chef -- have you tasted
his pork chop with apple cream sauce?
or home made couscous? I mean,
really. His Miso Cod kicks Nobu's ass.
I miss dinners at Patty's!
Frightening. Powerful. Horses have
nothing on him...
shoulders! and pecks!
