I want to make positive changes in the world. I'm applying to grad schools to develop appropriate technologies. I want to enable people to be more self sufficient with water, energy, food, etc to protect themselves against economic violence. I still don't have many answers to military and paramilitary violence.

I used to be much more idealistic and hard-edged. I feel like I'm getting old. I try to realistically find common ground where people can work together.
