      • It has been my pleasure to know Derek for many years. Derek was an amazing person back when I first met him and just seems to have gotten better with age. He's smart, can always make me laugh. If we all had a friend like him, we'd all be a bit happier!

        He sees the potential in people and
        helps them achieve it. He is loyal,
        selfless, and infinitely generous. He
        cooks great dinners and can climb any
        tree. The wittiest of gents is he, and
        a trusted ally. Not to mention that
        little maneuver he pulled at the Battle
        of Tanaab.
