Powder, Siddhartha, ET, Forrest Gump, An Affair to Remember, The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca
-

About Me:
I've been operating this indie record store in Dallas for
over 22 years. During that time, we've been visited by Ben Harper (my all-time favorite), Radiohead, Weezer, Public Enemy, Peaches, The Toadies, Pantera, Butthole Surfers, Jon Spencer, Beastie Boys, Jeff Buckley, Eazy E, LeeAnn Rimes, Geto Boys and many others. If you're in a new band and you're coming through Dallas, make time to drop by and say hello. We love to meet new and interesting people. Peace, love, and Bill's!
-
Who I Want to Meet:
Musicians, poets, artists, dreamers, and philosophers.
We're all friends here. Come on down and have some ice
cream. Bless your hearts and minds. We love everybody.

FallOut in Expo Park on Friday night!
Texas from New Jersey. Bill never
closed his store he was open all
hours. When I met him his store was 20%
of the size it is now. He always had
something to say an informed opionion
on music art & architecture. Bill
treats everyone with love &
compassion. It was fun living across the
street from the store in the early 80's
I always had a place to go. I could
always & still can count on Bill.He is
a true friend.
blessed by jesus. Damn Wall Mart! Burn
Sam Goody in the fire's of hell!
JHC
was the place to be, none of us had
cars back then or money, but we
always find a way either by bus or by
convincing a friend or parent to drop
us off there so we could dig through
the endless array of music. Half of
the time we had no clue what we
were looking at. but if we were seen
by your friends at Bills, you were then
considered "cool". and when you
were 18 years old, cool is the
currency of youth. So in turn Bills
brought wealth to all of us.
the love... one disc at a time.
there from 1989-1991, I must say that
Bill had a profound influence on my
formative years, acting as a secondary
father figure to me and all of his
employees at the time. His primary gift
is the ability to make people laugh; he
truly is the master of abstract and
obtuse humor, always from left field
yet always funny. He provided me a
dictionary of terms I still find myself
using today. He is a man with a giant
heart.
used go dumpster diving behind the RCA
Records office (amazing the shit they would
throw away) and then take our ill gotten booty
to Bill's where we would trade it in for Clash,
Bauhaus and Generation X records. At least we
worked a little bit for the music we stole
unlike todays kids. If we didn't have a show to
go to on a Friday night it was just as much fun
to hang out at Bill's store meeting fellow punk
rockers and new wavers from all the other
suburbs. I've been shopping at Bill's for about
20 years now and I am proud to call Bill my
friend. Take care Bill!
