-Reorganized BIA as Burma Defence Army (BDA). Appointed as Commander-in-Chief Colonel
-September- Married with Daw Khin Kyi

1943
-Be commissioned Major-General
-August- Burma was declared an independent nation and he was promoted to be the War Minister
-BDA was renamed as Burma National Army (BNA)

1944
-Founded Anti-Fascist Organization (AFO)

1945
-March- Rose against the Japanese Army
-August- The Japanese forces surrendered
-AFO was expanded and renamed as Anti-Fascist People's Freedom League (AFPFL)

1946
-January- Elected as president of the AFPFL

1947
-January- Signed "Aung SanAttlee Agreement" in London guaranteeing Burma's independence within a yea
-February- Signed "Panglong Agreement" with leaders from national groups
-19th July- Assassinated during the Executive Council meeting

This is for our young generation,to those who do not know Who is BoGyoke Aung San & what he done for Burma. In Burma (now Myanmar) young people don't know about BoGyoke Aung San. Because of Evil_Than Shwe & company. they actually try to take out image of BoGyoke Aung San. They replace with the image of animal, that will be their face in their next life..(by the way, Than Shwe face is more look a like BullDog face)
