I love traveling and seeing sights of wonders of places such as Bali, Papua, or simply Bandung. I adore sipping a diverse range of tea in a cozy cafe, be it the mainstream Starbucks or the intimate Praline, while the soothing melody of jazz plays in the background of friendly chatter with friends. I get a rush from debating and getting in touch with the current state of world's affairs. I am passionate about being a workaholic and I feel bliss when being pampered in day-spas. I enjoy shopping for tops while dreading shopping for shoes. I like nibbling on delicious food here and there. I am incessantly fiery when discussing the issues of gender, youth, and pluralism. I have my fun dancing non-stop to hip-hop beats or singing off-key with my hairbrush as the mike. But ultimately, I am most fond of snuggling up in my corner at home while reading all day long...

Wind in The Willows, Alexander McCall Smith's (Prescious Ramotswe's truly my heroine) Schopenhauer's Porcupines, Sarah Turnbull's, Peter Mayle's (especially the Provence series), N.H. Dini's, Narnia Chronicles, Pullman's His Dark Materials Trilogy, Stroud's Bartimaeus Trilogy (superb!), Joanne Harris's, Matilda, Detective Conan, fairy tales, and.. how can I forget Harry Potter? ;)

Sound Of Music, anything by Meg Ryan, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, A Little Romance, Narnia, While You Were Sleeping, Star Wars, classic Disney cartoons, Finding Nemo ('cuz ALL the fishes has psychological problems.. hehe..)

A cocktail of diverse, contradicting genres as a result of time immersed in veins and fondly reminisced. An addict of boy bands during my days of naivete who worships Backstreet Boys and Boyzone (among many others) turned pre-teen Britpop gal who hums to Space and Suede transformed into a hard-core hip-hopper and R&B buff high-schooler changed into a sassy swing jazz aficionado in my wiser young adult stage. At the very least, I can confirm these as my current favorite sounds: John Legend, Craig David, Lisa Ekdahl, Pharell N.E.R.D, Kings of Convenience, Elliot Yamin, Patti Austin's Say You Love Me', Cole Porter's Night and Day', Dreamgirls soundtrack, the Jazz Latte compilation, Jamie Cullum, Penelope Jones' and Mya's No Matter What They Say', Mario Vasquez, and random favorites from American Idol 6 (mostly Blake Lewis and Melinda Doolittle).

If TV shows means those you actually watch during its broadcasting hour, I must admit that I only watch one show, pure guilty pleasure... American Idol! Yes, I'm a junkie! Now, as much as I don't watch TV, I do watch some exceptional shows via DVD. Old favorites are F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Monk, CSI Vegas, Rugrats, Gilmore Girls, and the Simpsons, while my present devotion goes to HEROES! Peter Petrelli's really my guy!
