About Me:
Oh, ho ho ho ho! I'm an eclectic mix of this and that! Of
hither and thither! Of shiny things and brash
statements!
I make hydrogen balloons explode in front of small
children
to make my living! I strap bells to my legs and dance at
5:30am! I stay up too late to chase meteor showers,
and I get up too early to attend Earthquake
anniversaries.

Who I Want to Meet:
You are an artist, who is also a scientist. Or perhaps
you're a scientist, who is also an artist.
You are not only interesting, but interested. You are not
only interested, but interesting.
Even better if you're a dancer!
Extra bonus points with chocolate sprinkles if,
underneath it all, you are real. You embrace your
emotions with abandon. You love to learn. You know
yourself and you know what
you like.

too late now.
going to a party. It was December, and
I think we left about 11:34 pm on a
Saturday night. We were wearing all
white, because everything at the party
was white. Not racially, but in color.
As in reflecting all frequencies of
visible light. Anyway, in Julia's
thoroughly thrashed pervious car, there
was a certain CD player that was ...
well ... let's say it was cranky. The
thing is, one time out of about 287 it
would actually play a CD. The other 286
times it would just hang onto the CD
for about 15 seconds, and then eject
it. So, there we go, driving across the
Bay Bridge. Julia puts the CD in. It
comes back out. She puts it in again.
It comes back out. We're driving and
chatting and laughing. Julia is
stunning in her white whatever she was
wearing. She and John are talking smack
about Dickens Fair. Julia has to turn
to see to John over her shoulder, as he
is sitting in the back seat. She's
driving with one hand, half looking
forward and half looking backward, and
talking to me also, and with the not
driving hand she's either shifting the
car or pushing ABBA Gold back into the
CD player after it gets ejected. Which
it does, over and over and over. I'm
listening and watching, helping with
driving directions, and taking the
occasional turn at pushing the CD back
in. I am a little overwhelmed by the
energy in the car, the magic dynamic
whirlwind of fun that I can sense I'm
being swept up into. Then, at some
point, Julia stops talking. She looks
down at the CD player. When the CD
comes back out (for the 149th time) she
pulls it away from the CD player, puts
it down, and then GIVES THE CD PLAYER
THE FINGER. With that business taken
care of, she goes right back to driving
and talking and radiating beauty. Julia
rocks. End of story.
professor, as hot as a Striper, and as
funny as a rodeo clown. Talent,
Brains, and booty um err beauty all in
one package!
prepared for all of the single men in
attendence to ask about her.
She's pretty and she's sexy and she's
into improv and she's smart and she's
funny. She makes me feel all happy and
mushy inside every time I see her. I
think I may have a huge crush on her. Or
maybe I just have worms. I think it's
the former. Sigh...
exploding balloons, sequins, and
green lipstick, Julia is also a very
loyal and caring friend. I could call
her at 2 am ( well, she would still be
awake!) if I needed a sympathetic
ear. She has been Auntie Julia to my
daughter since she was a little bump
in my belly, and I love her like a
sister. In a word, Julia is sublime.
that I know. She is full of energy and
great ideas for performing. She knows so
many totally awesome games to play. And
I haven't even gotten to how beautiful
and smart this one is. I really could go
on and on, but I'll keep it brief. So
lets recap: This is the amazing,
dancing, energetic, performing, game
playing, great idea having, beautiful,
smart, the one, the only JULIA!!!!
pretty scary in of itself. She has so
many skills that they are too numerous
to name.
She also has a fantastic collection of
costumes.
ain't nobody's fool.
