With Gabriel and I, it started out with
Weekly late nights, almost went Daily,
but now I just make sure he gets paid for
it. He's great at what he does -- he can
do it real fast if I need it, but can
also wait around patiently if that's
what's required. You know the Drill...

type of friend who will come out and
meet you at 2 in the morning, find you
in a bar when you're drunken and
blubbering. He'll give you $20, put
you in a cab and say, "You're OK.
You're great." He's that guy. The
good one.
I've said terrible, untrue (but pretty funny, I
thought) things about Gabriel while drunk,
and yet he still likes me. Actually, I think my
big mouth might in fact be WHY Gabriel still
likes me. Which is why I like Gabriel so
goddamn much. He values indiscretion
more than anyone else I know.
