Smart, creative and cute as a button + a serious
anti-Bush vibe. As long as I do not bite the guests
or bark at the door, I hope to stay in her good
graces.

Give her some sticks and she'll build you a
treehouse, give her some gumwrappers and
she'll put on a puppet show. You might have
to compete for her attention: kids and
animals just follow her around with stars in
their eyes. But don't think she's a pushover :
get her on a bike, that icy Chicago wind
blowing in her hair and she'll take on any
foulmouthed, furwearin', airpollutin',
treechoppin' SUV driver!
knows, and she is generous with her digital
prints. Also, she should quit apologizing
about that time on the beach. It was years
ago, no offense was taken--and given the rest
of the adventures that day, it was really kind
of amusing.
