i know...we developed what seemed like
a sister and at times mother/daughter-
like (julie=mom) relationship back in
school as roomies..if only i had read
that bell hooks book she gave me back
in the old days....i don't get up to
nyc as much as i should to be a good
friend and visit, but she is forever in
my thoughts and i know we'll have our
reunion soon....
anything for her. Now that we are ex-
roomies, i don't see her much. What
a shame! I miss talking, walking,
eating, and sleeping with her. She's
pretty amazing.

how truly other-worldly she is. she really is
like an extraterrestrial. other people might try
to "think outside the box" but julie is from
somewhere where either boxes havent been
invented yet, or from some futuristic post-box
landscape. sometimes people try to gingerly
broach the subject with me, and when i catch
their subtle drift, i just have to say "oh yeah,
dude, i know my wife is insane. it's ok, you
can say it." and then we talk about how crazy
she is, and it makes everyone happy.
