About Me:
The roots of B L O C K A D E were planted in 2004. Camp at small "FUCKIN" city it's called MANUKAN, on West Surabaya. Slowly, Blockade are grow be a local Pure METAL band until this time.
"...We decided to root this band because, No one out there was making the music that we wanted to hear. So, we decided to make that music, anything we do to appeal to anyone, appease anyone or seek any sort of approval from anyone other than ourselves. So..!! we need you!! we need you...!!!...", say Band.
With the change in blood, a new energy and potential, BLOCKADE changes they music into PURE-METAL.
B L O C K A D E was formed as an instrumental band. In early BLOCKADE has been defined as a HardCore. But slowly, in 2007 they changes the style into PURE-METAL with the strong element of POWER GROOVE and sometime also include typical harmony part. Song's compositions focusing more on what some have called "MEMORABLE RIFFs, with drum-heavy production of double picking and double-kick drumming.
