dear friendster,

sometimes when i sit alone in my room
i wonder why so many of us wear different costumes
got a lot of friends but dont really know any of 'em
acting like a hard rock
when you really are a gem
maybe its wrong for me to assume
but what if we all went into the operating room
got rid of our masks and really unveil
became real and let ourselves avail
now picture what a world it would be

but instead were all behind bars
