Seriously folks, I'm working day in and day out at the same job I've had for six plus years now. It's comfortable and stable which is something, but boring. Lately I spend my time on the train thinking about other wild careers I'd like to have: homicide detective, FBI profiler, owning a restaurant, carpenter, professional lobbyist. It all *sounds* interesting enough.
What will I end up doing? Right now I am working toward applying to a tasty-looking graduate program in urban elementary education which would qualify me to give some learning and maybe hope/inspiration to kids who need it. I like to be needed.
I'm currently moving. Moving in a lot of ways. Moving away from and out of a relationship that wasn't working. Moving toward being better to myself and taking better care of myself. Moving toward furthering my education. And hey -- actually moving back to Davis Square, Somerville to start over in the company of friends and familiar places.
I watch too many James Bond movies and too much reality television. I read too many books. I am fluent in too many nerd languages and have too many stamps on my United States of Nerds passport (though my VISA for unrestricted travel was recently extended). I work hard on living, loving and thinking less about material stuffs.
I also work hard on opening the cans of cat food for the inimitable Mr. Schneebly, a feisty little tuxedo cat whose main job entails batting the glittery sparkly things he finds on the floor.

Who I Want to Meet:
Myself.
Hokey, but true.
I am interested in finding out who I am without a partner, who I am to myself, what I want, what I need and who I want to be. It's been a long introduction to what I hope will be a successful courtship.
I am not on the make for a rebound relationship or so afraid of being alone that I am seeking immediate replacement.
However, I will not turn down cups of coffee, movie dates, Scrabble games, hugs or kisses on the cheek. For the immediate future, I may bit a bit heartbroken but my heart is not broken. You know?
So, are you not in a hurry? Good, because I'm not in a hurry.

donuts at Dunkins are freshest at 4am
and foodshopping at 2am could be a
very musical experience. Come to
think of it, does this girl sleep? If we
didn't debate things back and forth,
we'd have nothing to talk about, but
she's a true and loyal friend. In fact,
she was even on my first date with my
partner of almost 6 years! In short,
she's just plain ol' cool.
truly don't think the words exist. In
a good way.
fabulous hair, a dedication to keeping
us all up to date on her life (which i
appreciate) and a forgiving heart. Amy
allowed me to buy her a bright orange
bra. She agreed with me once and has
cute fingers and toes.
people. She cooks like a muh, gives
great hugs, has pretty hair and always
smells good. Next time we are playing
mini-golf in the rain I am totally
going to kiss her.
superfreak.. Girl, i love your ass..
you're crazy, kinky and just too
loveable for words.. you rock my world
and even tho we all know i'm terrible
friend, you know i adore you.. *mUah***
fabulosity. She is a wonderful cook,
which would make her a fantastic
housemate even if she wasn't also
my best friend from college. Oh the
stories I could tell... :D
