met Kenny; it was in a laundry room and
I thought his name was Howard, and he
thought my name was Dwayne. That
was almost 7 years ago, and since then
he's become. . .a really good friend.
Elaborating further would take me
hours. Even though we kind of float in
and out of each other's lives right now,
hearing from Kenny always puts a smile
on my face.
smile, which can scare children in large
doses, is his heart. I know of no one
else to can deal with public high school
children and also take on Cal wushu's
advance class primadonnas. He is strong
and trustworthy enough to leave your
children to, but yet can be soft and
sensitive enough to help you with your
bad days. Any girl would be lucky to
meet this gentleman.
will ever do justice kenny justice?
i've known kenny for almost 3 years now-
- that's long enough to know that
kenny's got a big heart, and enough
determination to last two lifetimes--
one of which was probably sucked out of
him during his first year as a real
live high school teacher. it just goes
to show the lengths he'll go to change
the world. a few more things i learned:
kenny is incredibly smart, has a very
strong moral code, and wears his heart
on his sleeve. he's also really funny,
super athletic, and can FLY-- though
he's also accident prone; when have you
ever gone more than two months without
injury, kenny?? he's a good listener
and a good talker who can be sensitive
to emotions even when they haven't been
explicitly stated. overall, kenny's
been a great friend. who wouldn't want
to meet him?
Skyline Oakland high school (remember
Dangerous Minds?) He went from tackling
kids taller & bigger than him to now
teaching in an all boys catholic
school. Kenny, I KNEW IT!!! Stop
staring @ me!! that smile is
deceiving... haha, just kidding.
Special K is a genuine philanthropist &
a true edumacator. Just remember, "A
teacher affects eternity; he can never
tell where his influence stops."
even remember when I met him. Perphaps
that's because we are cousins. I've
always had to look out for the kid. As
the older cousin, I was determined to
set a good example for him. I went to
college and he followed me. Where
would kenny be without me? LIVING AT
HOME WITH MOMMY!
