      • So, here's the set-up: I'm 14, Jess is 13 and we're on a Carnival Cruise. When you're a teenager on a cruise, you gotta find a buddy. From there, we had momentous adventures. We hung with the older teenagers, I watched Jessie make out with Ian (the guy from Long Island with the dreads) by a kiddie pool shaped like a turtle. I stood there awkwardly with a guy named Tim; I think we were supposed to do the same. I finked out on her during a nightclub dance competition, and might I say what a fine dancer she is. Never have I seen a white girl break it down so well to Grandmaster Flash. We all did a conga line around the ship (pissing off a few fellow passengers), and we saw a few drugs in raw form. That was a first for me. Jess was one of my earliest teachers on how to get a boy's attention. I didn't really listen, but the effort was a sweet one. She came to visit the summer before my freshman year in high school and I haven't seen her since. I know I'll see her again someday. Love ya!

        really regret losing touch with during
        the last couple of years. she's a
        sweet girl and dances really well!
        we've had some interesting times in
        canada especially, ha, fond memories
        for sure.
