The Mayor............ In the works*
The first time I saw Mark was when I was visiting someone in the Municipal Hall in that not-so-far-away town in Batangas. He was standing in front of what seemed to be a Sr. townsfolk seated at the bench in the hallway. The man was in laidback with one leg up typical in the barrio, He and Mark were having a casual discussion. This must be the Mayor, I thought to myself. He carries himself with respectable bearing, creaseless barong with an affable gaze yet discerning and obviously learned despite his youth. He also must be a charmer of his constituents for them to be so at ease in his presence. I learned later on that the old man was the incumbent Mayor. Mark is a certified technocrat and possesses all the ideal qualifications and character that make illustrious administrators.
