About Me:
I'm just a girl... sassy, but not prissy. I think "dressing up" means putting on high heels and a blazer with my jeans and t-shirt. I don't like to be pegged or generalized. I like intelligent people who make me laugh. I like to laugh. I think the world is mostly good and when it's not, the best place you can be is in the arms of a friend.
I really like: coffee, martinis, expensive shoes, sushi, Shakespeare, thrift stores, Texas, the smell of soap, my iPod, all-day lipstick, vodka, quirky people, traveling, brushing my teeth in the shower, New York City, post-it notes, magazines, NPR, olives, crossword puzzles, buying presents for my friends, Bethesda Fountain, clean sheets, potato chips, taking the train, and being woken up by someone I actually want to talk to.
I really hate: bell peppers, white shoes, raisins, snobs, waiting, dirty dishes in the sink, people wearing their polo color up, the font Comic Sans MS, wasting food, being called "James," voice-automated customer service numbers, clowns, daytime television, blue M&M's, diet Pepsi, improper grammar, hotel hangers, rude waiters, and people who are rude to waiters.

Who I Want to Meet:

Testimonials and Comments for Jamie
Me: hello, i think you have my keys, i was just in there. (3 people close to me take several very obvious steps back)
and she takes me back to my room where i drink most of the vodka in the house & look for cables' stash of porn and enjoy the rest of my evening.
jamie hawkins, my own personal jesus.
the short time I've known her, she's
helped me find the beauty in the skyline
from the jersey piers, showed me what
real Mac and Cheese is all about, been
quite the online drinking partner
through all celebrations and crises
we've survived since 2004, and is the
ONLY person to go to when you absolutely
have to talk about your sex life in the
middle of a kung fu film. If she happens
to be passing through your state, look
her up. This chick is GOLD. And that
ain't just the Jack talkin'...
farting she grossly moaned "aw, evan!
i'm having people over in 30 minutes!"
this girl is a classy dame. end of story.
deal with it!
dirty thoughts people!) The coolest
Jamie gave me her room during my
mini-vacation to the amazing NYC a
few weeks ago. I felt at home! She
took me to Corner Bistro (amazing
burger & fries!), Magnolia's for a
cupcake(again, amazing!), and
Pizza at Grand Central Station (great
for me because I was in NYC!). The
TANC girls weekend was lot's of
fun. In the words of the wise Ms.
Hilton, "That was hot!" Let's just
hope that next time I go out there,
someone doesn't decide to burn a
train and cause delays to keep us
out till sunrise. = 0 Thank you
soooo much chica!
expect the first thing they say afterward
to be sweet and at least complimentary.
The first thing Jamie said to me
afterward was, "How long have you
been waiting to do THAT!" She's
completely hot. She's hilarious. She's
highly intelligent. She's going to ask me
why I didn't put a superlative in front
of "hilarious".
She's my answer to the question, "How
little can two people have in common,
and still be soul mates?"
She's SUCH a girl. In fact, she taught
me practically everything I know about
them. She's the first one I go to when i
have questions about them. Yes, even
those kinds of questions.
I love Jamie because she is the single
most thoughtful person I've ever met. I
love her b/c she speaks her mind - and
damn you for putting words in her
mouth. I love her because, of all the
witty, clever and inspiring things I've
said, all she'll remember is the comment
I made about her boobs when I was a
freshman in college.
but sometimes she leaves them sitting
there all night herself. When I casually
commented on this, she told me she
loathes herself. I'm the luckiest guy on
the block!
morning... with a punch in the face!
manhattan subway platform.
time: well past midnight on a warm
Saturday night.
Jamie & her friend Carrie have just
finished dinner and Jamie carries a
doggy bag to share the remains of her
dinner with someone less fortunate.
Sitting on the stairs is what seems to
be a homeless woman. As Jamie is
surrounded by a pool if heavenly light,
angels begin to sing as she offers the
container to the woman on the stairs
with a smile on her face. As a record
abrupty scratches, the woman yells "get
that shit away from me!" Turning to
Carrie, she says "bitch thinks I'm
homeless!" I don't know if I left out
some details or if that's the end of
the story, but man- it makes me
laugh.
