- I live in a true melting-pot style neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. On my block, there are Chinese, Italians, Poles, Russians, and of course, Arabs. Most of the folks here are, in fact, Palestinian or Lebanese. The memory of 9/11 is still painfully fresh here, because we unwittingly harbored one of the terrorists, about a block and a half from where I am sitting now.

About Me:
I am the webmaster, editor, and principal writer for the Daily rEvolution weblog, which has been in existence since 2004. I also have written and self-published four books on psycho-spiritual healing in a time of violence and estrangement, and I am a counselor and professional consultant who works with private clients, groups, and workshops in a unique, interactive approach to psychotherapy and personal development that draws on Taoist insights in leading people through personal crisis, mental illness, life decisions, and interpersonal conflict.
My day job is in IT, as a business analyst for a large corporation. I live in Brooklyn NY with a 13 year old daughter and one black cat.

Who I Want to Meet:
A relationship is a connection between individuals, an attraction that is neither absorptive nor hierarchical. Think of the figure 8 turned on its side--that is, the symbol for infinity. Each of the parts is unique and autonomous, but they are connected and draw energy from one another. One does not take over or absorb the other: each is independent, but is strengthened by the connection with the other.
If you can understand this, then we already have something in common and will most likely connect.
