Who I Want to Meet:
Someone who knows about cooking. Someone who knows how to fix cars. There are a few people from my past (you either know who you are or you don't) whom I want to meet again. I hold my breath for a moment when I see a person in the distance in a familiar place with what might be a familiar gait.
Someone who gives good advice, listens well, and is willing to dispense the advice.
If (and I repeat 'If'!) it is possible to tell the future...I would like to meet someone who could do that. But would I want to know how and when I will die? Would I want to know the sad things that will come? Maybe I don't want to meet that person after all...
Anyone who is willing to take me shopping and buy me at least one article of clothing or electronic device of my choice.
Anyone willing to put in 10-15 hours of volunteer time a week as my personal organizer. Tasks include paying bills, opening and filing mail, dusting bookshelves. Perks include my company--I could chat and supervise if you want.

Jennifer and I have been best friends
since second grade! She's everything
you could ever want in a friend, except
shes often late. Just tell her the
meeting time is 15 minutes eariler than
it actually is... She used to insist on
people calling her Lavender; maybe we
should break that nickname back out. I
wish she lived closer so we could spend
more time together!
