The six months from July to December 2006 was a milestone at Advance SCT. This marks the first six months that Advance SCT has substantially incorporated its recent acquisition, Green World Holdings Limited as a fully owned subsidiary. The period was a landmark whereby we reached new heights of business and financial performance. Sales revenue grew by 134% from S$114 million to S$267 million in this six month period. Net profit attributable to equity holders grew by 69% from S$3.6m to S$6.1m.

The Group recently completed the acquisition of 80% of TTM Industries Sdn Bhd (TTMI) in March 2007. TTMI owns a copper smelter located at Pulau Indah (near Port Klang) in Malaysia. The first furnace of the copper smelter started producing 8mm copper coils in early March. The construction and testing of the second furnace is ahead of schedule and is expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2007 instead of end 2007. Production of 3mm copper coils is targeted for the 2nd half of 2007. The two furnaces have a combined capacity of 60,000 metric tonne of copper coils per year.

The Group is also in the process of building a copper refinery in Tuas to spearhead the Group's initiatives in copper refining and manufacturing. The integrated refinery and manufacturing plant is expected to be completed in late 2007 with initial production targeted to commence shortly thereafter. Total capacity per annum will be 36,000 tonnes of refined copper products.

I am pleased to say that following from our initial public offering in November 2004, the Group has consistently pursued its growth strategies of both organic growth as well as mergers and acquisitions which the Group is currently focusing on integrating and developing. We will continue to review and consider synergistic opportunities as they present themselves.
