About Me:
In waterworks park is an old log cabin that was built here
in 1836 and I was incorporated in 1847. The first annual
Iowa state fair was held here in 1854, hence my name. My
population is around 9,768. I am the home of Maharishi
Univeristy of Management which is one of the most
expensive higher learning institutions in the state and is
locatated on the former Parson's college campus. Things
can be a little slow around here, in fact some people may
even say that Fairfield is boring. But that is the way
most of us Fairfielder's like it. Spacious, and
affordable, this rural Iowan town serves as a very special
spiritual community and has a way of incubating rich and
everlasting friendships. You can take an individual out of
Fairfield, but you can't take the Fairfield out of an
individual.
-
Who I Want to Meet:
Factory workers and yogic flyers that
enjoy logli's pizza and the noodle house.
Add Fairfield as your friendster if you live in or are
from Fairfield, my first name is FAIRFIELD and my last

happening in Fairfield? Send me the details and I'll
post'em.

a valuable lesson. you shouldn't bring
oe's into a kegger.
12 years in fairfield and the best job i
had was at cafe paradiso. i always got
my large cafe mocha.
if it werent for fairfield and the live pa's at
the beatbox, i probably would not be into
making music today.
fairfield is awsome although im kind of
glad i moved cause it helped me quit
smoking cigarettes.
i'll do my best to visit you on new years.
it or you will get sucked in and never
find a way out.
chicks, right? AND i can be an under-
employed slacker that hangs out at the red
rocks and the coffee shop (that is actually
the second location of bonnie's china deli)
while doing that? AWESOME! sign me up
for never-never land!
fellas. What's not to love???
least a 50 mile radius...if not 250.
You've got a full range here. From
your average Midwestern Jesus
freak, to cult followers from the world
over. Not to mention you're a friggin
cultural oasis. C'mon, where else in
Iowa do people coffee shop hop
instead of bar hop? Where else has
the second highest Jew per capita
population in the U.S. ? Where else
can you get high off of anything from
sitting with your eyes closed to an
endless supply of crystel meth? Only
Fairfield. The best of Ioway! (within a
50 mile radius...which means better
than corn and Ottumwa)
morning. The reason i walk down 2nd
street to get my morning coffee and the
reason I am how i am. Farifield is also
my motivation to leave and see bigger
and brighter things in the world.
But even if i leave, even if i'm gone for
50 years without coming back. I will end
up here again, You can count on that.
(haha that kind of rhymed)
