About Me:
I never filled this part of my Friendster profile out because I didn't quite know what to say. For the longest time, I let my career define me. Nothing exciting to write about it really. Yet, others seem to place such an emphasis on it as well. Its like, when I get introduced to someone for the first time, the friend doing the introduction says, "This is Yvonne. She's a lawyer." Drives me nuts. People have their ideas and preconceptions, but I'm just the same Yvonne that I've always been. I'm not the typical lawyer either. One time at a deposition, everyone mistook me for the court reporter. Well why would they think otherwise. I'm sitting in a room full of tall, white, grouchy men in their 50s or 60s, wearing their suits, and carrying their brief cases. I'm glad that that part of my legal career is done and over with. I'm still a lawyer, but I'm doing stuff right now that lets me keep my life balanced with my career.
So, why am I writing now? Since I've had my son, I feel compelled to write something so that people who see my profile know that I'm a MOM! Being a mom for the first time has been one of the most difficult yet most rewarding things and that's ever happened to me. I'm not kidding when I say that since he was born 17 months ago, I don't think I've had one uninterrupted night of sleep. I probably get about 5 hours of broken sleep a night. So when you see me in person, all red eyed, no...I haven't been smoking the ganja. I've just been being a mom. But I wouldn't change a thing. He and his dad are my blessings. I know that since I have them both in my life, I've done something right.

You are the best wife, mother, and friend that any husband could ever have. I may not be perfect in all that I am, but you are still there by my side loving me in my weakest moments.
I know that destiny has brought us together. For all that exist between us, has been blessed and filled with the best of times. More love and happiness than ever believed possible.
Now we are going to be blessed with a baby girl, which will be just as loving and caring as you. I know this to be true because I see it in Little Benny. He has your Hart and loving spirit.
