his finger. apparently, he's had it
for years. at first, no one said
anything. we all thought he would get
it checked out on his own. so we all
kinda forgot about it. then it began
to smell bad. i mean, if crap could
crap, then that's how bad it would
smell. he doesn't seem to notice, but
everyone knows when carlos is near.
regardless of the smell, however, we
still like to have him around. that's
the kinda guy he is...or maybe it's just
that's the kinda people we are. i
don't know.

my thesis on time-- he definitely
powered me through a couple of crucial
last-minute all-nighters. And he gave
me the opportunity to polish my toe-
kicking skills and feel hardcore as I
bashed into U of C undergrads on the
soccer field...

at some point he needs to get drunk

Jameson and tequila, and he wrote his
MA thesis on Jose Marti. He is
honestly the shit.
and all around good person. He is one
of the people I miss getting to see on
