Born in California to an Air Force family. Subsequently lived in Utah, Texas, Maryland (D.C.), and Texas again.
I've been a science geek since high school, and nothing's really changed. After majoring in Biochemistry, I moved to Houston and worked as a Research Assitant for two years, and now I'm in grad school in microbiology, working on my PhD...should be done in a couple more years.
I also enjoy spontaneous trips to Chicago.
