One day I was asked to vouch for
rrrus. Who is this guy? He wants to
camp w/the cowboys? I vouched. I'd
like to think my vouch was part of the
birthing canal that created Ace Cow.
Where would we be without him?

It took some time for me to break
through to rrrus. Repeated
introductions, repeated giving of my
name, but then...then we bonded on our
super secret mad scientist project and
now all is good and as it should be.
Ace is the place and Cows are now.
There's no better partner mischief
maker.
I keep running into rrrus in the most
interesting places. this leads me to
believe that he is an interesting and
well-rounded person. then of course
there are the heaping mounds of
anecdotal evidence that he is, in
fact, a totally rockin' mad doctor of
beatology.
And I know his secret name.
The best part is when he plays a track
that's so fucking cool he has to *put
down his headphones and bop on out to
the dance floor*. I live for those
moments.
Rrrus is all cute 'n' shit when he bops
around while he DJs. He is friendly
and honest with people. He is a bee
with a dirty sting. And when the poet
Christopher Morley wrote, "And Life,
that sets all things in rhyme, may make
you poet, too, in time-- but there were
days, O tender elf, when you were
poetry itself!", Rrrus was the "tender
elf" he was addressing.
Russ is dy-no-mite! Watching him spin
is the best 'cuz he works it like few
DJ's out there do. When our gazes lock
we both sort of tilt our head and look
into each other's eyes like two shiny
happy little stars--appreciating the
knowing we have of one another's
