About Me:
I just moved to Madison to start my graduate work, and although this is the furthest I've ventured from my east coast roots in a long-term capacity, I already feel at home. The two places I've spent a majority of my life, I've had the fortune of finding one true companion with whom I can connect on countless levels -- like finding a piece of my soul housed in someone else's body. I would love to meet someone here who fits that description.
I am an aspiring professional musician, although I'd like to think I do well in avoiding many of the personality pitfalls that such a profession entails. I'm a city boy at heart, but often need a peaceful outdoor excursion to reconnect with my inner calm. I have chronic insomnia, which makes me a problematic roommate, but a fantastic road trip companion. I am comically uncoordinated for an avid sports fan. I am a much stronger listener than I am a speaker. I have a passion for movies that has become detrimental to my finances. I give damn good hugs.

Who I Want to Meet:
Madison friends. Realistic optimists. Comic philosophers. Camping enthusiasts. Strong huggers. People who can appreciate, withstand, and match my sarcasm. People who aren't afraid of the truth, whether giving or taking it. Musicians with both talent and humility. People who resemble either Mr. Clean or the Chiquita Banana Lady. People who find humor in their everyday surroundings. People who can walk confidently down the path of life without the crutch of a definitive destination. And Maggie Smith. I *really* want to meet Maggie Smith. Send me an IM - HmmSketch
. . . especially if you're Maggie Smith.

Ok, seriously, this kid is great. He is true to his word and has lots of heart. He will always be there for you, a man of great character. Good luck at OLO this summer bud.
Babe, I know that wherever you go, you'll be fantastically well loved. Good Luck, and I'll catch up with you when you get closer to Chi-town!
Second...i am offended, Sam...you are casting a personal trainer...I thought I had that part...as well as the part of caffeine addict. Well...since I didnt land those parts I guess I will have to go audition for the part of the southern plantation owner in Rent. Wait...there is no plantation owner in Rent....maybe if there was it wouldnt suck so bad...nah..it would still suck.
So...Sam's insomnia is obviously not cured because he has made tons of friends. I mean...really...he has 227.
Maybe its cuz he's a nice guy...
NAH
Sam you are the best. I hope I get to work with you again in the future.
scared freshman I could not have asked
for a better RA. As it turns out Sam
will also be my CA next year, I am not
really sure what he is still doing on
campus, but I am not complaining. Sam
always cheers me up with a smile when I
see him on campus.
