world!
popular guys i know in this world.
seriously. when i went to college i met
so many ppl who already knew him and
now im referred to as "tim's cousin". i
have so many childhood memories with
him...from him calling me egghead since
i looked like a baby boy, to getting
lost while chasing him on his bike at
toys r us, to him spitting in my mouth
(do you remember that one?), til now,
seeing him at the most random places
and always having a different hair
style. he's probably the buffest cousin
that i have and he'll probably be the
next one to get married in my family.
his unconditional love & faith in the
Lord encourages me more than he'll ever
know and his presence seriously makes
the biggest difference. i love you
timmy!!
you were an Earth, Wind and Fire Fan...
i meant when i said he wasn't afraid to
show his sensitive side.. well, he
really rubs .. i mean loves people. i
remember i was going through a rough
time at home a while back, and my
church wasn't really helping much.
then one night, after a praise night
that we both played at, we were talking
outside in the parking lot and he was
listening to my problem and tried to
really encourage me. i remember his
sincerity and genuine concern he had
for me. since then, we've been good
friends. thanks for the friendship!
and the crab, the shrimp, the
mehwoontang, the beer.. can't forget
the beer...
a guy whom I've never seen down or
mellow. Always on the go, yet always
high-spirited and energetic. How DOES
he do it? I wanna be like Tim! And
geez...he is such the encourager.
Everytime I talk to him, he never fails
to make me feel like the queen of the
world! If you ever need a friend to
help you get thru a tough day, Tim is
your man...hands down. He has been
such an endless source of vibrant
energy, encouragement, excitement,
laughter, and fun!! It's no wonder
that he rocks the beat like no other
and brings the house down when he plays
the drums. Madd skillz, bro! He never
misses a beat, and dude...this guy can
bust some crazy knowledge on you! So
watch out now!! Timee is on da loose...
afraid to show his sensitive side to
people. and i don't mean his feminine
side... which i know alot of people
have been victims of... haha, i luv ya
bro!
the house at our Youth Group Revival!!
We was jumpin like it was 1999. May
the Lord continue to bless.
shing tang. one day he wanted to see
where epic spicy tuna rolls REALLY
came from. i says "come my little
pupil for they do not come from the
heavens nor the mountains but they
come from the deep ends of the seas
off the pacific queen." so I's take my
little one on a fishing encounter to
soon find him silently perched over
the rail due to the ill disequilibrium
of his vestibular system overloading
his emetic center. he quits not! nor
does he not not vomit to contaminate
the purity of the sanctuary for the
basic element of the spicy tuna roll!
no my friends... he bullies on and
baits on his magic stick with a big
mackeral to soon find him tangled up
with other lines searching for the
truth of spicy tuna rolls!!! bummer!!!
maybe next time my pupil... remember
my little one, even neo didn't make
his first building jump in the matrix!!
brutha like no otha and I'm privileged
to say...one of my closest & dearest
friends. I first saw Tim at BKSA when
I was a freshman in college. All I
knew was that this boy had the craziest
skills in whackin' them sticks and
makin' people groove. I saw him a few
years later on a campus ministry we
attended, creating the same beats...only
this time using a tambourine and
shaker. We eventually served together
and what started off as friendship has
turned into a bruthahood that very few
ever experience. Tim, in my mind, has
set the standard for every drummer...
especially in leading praise. He has
sacrificed much and faithfully been
there for me throughout the years.
Many gravitate to Tim because of his
drummin' (he's superstar status by the
way)...but will quickly be captivated by
the deep joy & love he possesses and
freely shares. Tim's energy and laugh
are contagious, as well as his love for
life. I am eternally grateful for this
man and how God has used him to help
shape me. Much love, baby...peeeesuh!!!
drummer, he still keeps it real and is
a down to earth guy. Don't let the
huge afro fool you, his mad drumming
skills hasn't gone to his head.
Here's a poem that sums it up:
O Tim,
You are the heartbeat of my rhythm
The pulse of my strum
Without you, I would not be able to
find the one
O Tim,
Your drumming is so extraordinary,
Yet you are so ordinary,
Stay cool and have great summer
