we are oddly the same, despite being
differently sized/colored. like two
pieces of the
crakkybouncysparklyloudpartygirl
variety pack.
added onto from time to time): we used
to walk to school everyday for a
couple of years. i was 11 and bean
was 7. we used to walk with my best
friend betsy. we were walking home
one day and betsy and i were
conspiring and telling all-important
big-girl secrets to one another, and
obviously this was not an appropriate
situation for little sister to be a
part of. so naturally i shooed her
away and told her to run waaaaaaaaay
up further along the sidewalk away
from us. and she did. and laters,
years later, she admitted that she
actually wept real tears while she
walked. far away from us.
more wired than big blue, sharper than
shrapnel, able to leap tall egos in a
single hump, she has all the moves to
crush your groove but chooses not to--
Oh and i hear she gives good heel
night: i offered to sell her my dance
moves, but she just smirked that she'd
steal them instead. and that is why i
squaredancesaved her away from creepy
dive-bar guy.
cute and fun and also tough as nails.
she is a supremely talented dancer, a
strait talker and a great friend. while
i am saaaaaaad that she has partaken
herself to LA land, i figure those kids
deserve a little bot action. till we
dance again, muchos love from the Tree.
