I met Jenny back in Beijing when
we were both there learning
mandarin at Beida. Wow I feel like
breaking into a song as it still feels
like we were there only
yesterday..."....those were the days
my friend I thought they'd never
end....":-P Beijing was the greatest
experience for me, I learnt so much
and did so much I never thought I
would do and I also got to meet
some amazing friends like Jenny.
She was the crazy one who was
always so bubbly, happy and full of
energy. There woud never be a dull
moment when Jenny was around.
She's great at makng
conversations and even better at
asking questions....although not so
good at answering them!:-P
Anyway it was just so good to see
Jenny again and yes some things
never change!:-) and we don't want
them to because this is the
adorable Jenny we all konw and
love!
Do come to visit us again soon in
London! Maybe we can make a trip
to Germany and visit Sunny as well!
I'm cultivating this one simply for the
vicarious power, glory, and fame . . .
I guess she's also pretty smart and
bone-ticklingly amusing to be around,
too.
I have known Jenny for almost 15 years
and despite her amazing (albeit not
unexpected) journalistic success, to
me she will always be the girl who sat
next to me on the bus to and from
debate tournaments and tried to get me
to come out of my shell. (That, and
the aspiring chef who has kept me fed
over the years with forever chicken,
homemade sushi and mystery noodles,
among other conconctions.)
