I am a happy, content person. I have a great job, a wonderful network of friends, and family close by. The only thing lacking is someone to share it with. I know that sounds goofy, but I mean it. I have had successful relationships with many different types of people, but what they all had in common was a great sense of humor, and the ability to look at themselves honestly even when it is uncomfortable. I am a former programmer now doing penance in Project Management for a computer software company. It can be hectic and hairy when we are deploying a new application, but it is never dull. I started with this company years ago when it was a startup, and while we did not become millionaires, we did survive and thrive. I work hard, but Im not a workaholic. After work, i like to meet up with friends for dinner or to hear some music. The last thing I heard was a Dutch Klezmer band at Barbes on 9th Street (Brooklyn). Prior to that, Rhett Miller at the Bowery Ball Room.

Here's some added miscellaneous:

1. At any given time I can recall five of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Oddly, it is not always the same five.
2. I prefer dive bars to fancy clubs
3. I don't believe in flu shots
4. I make my own echinacea
5. I like the Mets *and* the Yankees
6. I can't hear very well when there is a lot of ambient noise, so I just nod my head and smile a lot
