I'm a Northampton based House DJ who's had the opportunity and privilege to take my passion to the next level and tour the country playing headline sets in some of the UK's most amazing bars and clubs.

From the glitz and glamour of London's Metparties to the pure energy of Mansion @ Tokyo project, Oldham I seek out and bring to the decks most uplifting, tuneful and vocal house on the planet!

::PROFILE::

Born January 27th 1980 Matt Oakey has always been surrounded by music. From a musical family Matt, as a young child, learned to play the piano to grade 4, followed by the cornet and then self taught himself the guitar at age 14.

At 16 Matt caught a bug that has changed his life forever...the bug was Dance Music!

In 1999 Matt tried mixing on his friends vinyl decks and within a matter of hours had mastered beat matching and moved onto perfecting his timing and building his collection of House and Trance tunes.

It took Matt just 6 months to secure his 1st residency at the RSVP Bar in Worcester. Here he stayed for 8 months picking up second night at the bar and building a reputation for flawless mixing and a truly unique style of uplifting and energetic House and Trance. Matt then moved onto to bigger and better things playing in Birmingham, Oxford, Reading and London.

In 2002 Matt stepped away from the scene after a flourishing career to bring up his 2 daughter
