seems to like beer... hmm... I wonder
why I never met her dog again. Diane is
a great gal... I met her at Blue Hill
one night and even during that first
conversation there were zero awkward
silent moments, imagine that. From the
moment I met Diane until the moment I
rolled out of St. Louis there was never
a dull moment... now I am not blaming
this all on Diane, although I do
believe she introduced me to her friend
Tara and I also believe it was Diane's
idea to go to the City Musuem one
Friday evening too. (These two actions
created more drama for me than all of
the rest of the events last semester
combined). Thanks for enertaining me
Diane!
lunatic. (The best kind of lunatic,
of course.) Although she more or less
readily admits to being Type A, she
has recently made great strides in her
quest to "Relax, for the love of God!"
(okay, maybe that's MY not-so-secret
quest for her). But she has, really.
Example: last year Diane went LATE to
a class. Like over ten minutes late.
It was a crazy time for her, and for
me. She's also been seen wearing
sneakers with a prom dress. If that's
not walking on the wild side, I don't
know what is. Diane also has a great
sense of humor, which is why I can say
things like this about her. She's a
pal. A lunatic, but a pal.
Diane told me to hide the drugs in the
gas tank. She's always good for tips
like that.
is sweeping the nation and cannot be
stopped. It's a work of genius! When
she's not practicing in front of the
mirror, Diane wins over new converts
with her charming smile, engaging
personality, and extensive knowledge of
pop-culture icons. Of course, she does
say some pretty mean things to make the
boys cry, and only drinks apple juice,
which is a bit weird, but these are
minor oddities. Diane also has a very
playful dog, but be warned: it has a
fondness for cat poop. If it comes too
close, you might want to step back,
just to be safe. But don't let that
sour you on Diane, who's in a class by
herself. Number one!
exterior fool you. She is a softie and a
sweetie. She can fashion a zoo's worth
of balloon animals in seconds flat and
will coach anyone who will listen on the
finer points of applying white pancake
make-up. (Apparently, I do this
incorrectly.) That's why a Diane is an
essential addition to any group of
friendsters. I urge you to pick one up
today, while supplies last.
always there for you...well... unless she
is taking her dog to the "dog park, or
talking about her dog.... or playing with
her dog.. or thinking about how she
should be playing with her dog... or
talking about how she is thinking about
how much she misses her dog and would
like to be playing with her dog... or
picking up and making excuses when her
dog attacks the trash cans of the
world... (blaming her roommates for other
types of the "accidents may have
worked for the first few times, but
that excuse is getting a bit old) ....
Well - basically when it isn't all
about her dog - she's right there to
help you with whatever problem you may
have or just there to call you "stupid
and walk away. Although, I have to say
this - being the good and proper Mormon
that I am - she does tend to cuss a
lot, and I mean a lot! And when she
goes out, she usually starts a fight at
a bar... But she makes up for all of that
when she starts telling her Homeless
Hungry Kids jokes... she's got a
million of them - always cheers me up
to hear about the Homeless Children
that are starving out there... very
classy indeed! Well.. then again.. she
does has a pretty big fetish for Clint
Howard.. It's all about the Clint,
which is pretty scary. "did you know
Clint was in Silent Night, Deadly
Night 4 & 5' - He was so good as Ricky
in those films and "have you seen
the Gung Ho' TV series - he was so
kick butt as Paul in it. Well,
thinking about it, as I am writing
this - I did just recently see "the
Deed of Daring-Do and "Leprechaun II
and you know what - Clint IS pretty
cool!!!!! You know - that just proves
it - Diane is a pretty groovy gal - or
as my minister would say "she's an A-OK
broad!
