About Me:
i have a tendency to silence and solitude but once in a while i go crazy on the dance
floor. i love post-industrial cities and people i can't quite figure out. i love gender ambiguity and coffee and mornings and uncomposed people. i like it when people shatter my expectations of them. i am a non-degree-holding librarian at a radical library. someday i want to write novels that express the utter alienation and dehumanization of our world today: windows that don't open, fake plants (which to me = the end of the world), going from box to box (car to house to car etc.), people all over the streets who've surrendered to madness, beauracracies like insurance companies, small claims courts etc., antidepressants and tranquilizers- you know what i'm talking about. i tend to be pessimistic and sad but i've learned how to laugh about that. i've never fit in to any particular group of people and i don't ever want to. what else can i say? i'm just trying to find my way, fluctuating between calmness like the middle of the sea and fearful anxiety.
how can you not?

Who I Want to Meet:
i want to meet some femme fatales in baltimore (or anywhere for that matter) and other troublemakers here with wildfire in their eyes.
people who come from darkness but aren't ruled by it.
people who struggle.
revolutionaries, dykes, fierce feminists, yogis/yoginis, unbashful dancers, anti-capitalists, bookworms, people who live like fiction and think like fiction, believers, urbanites, androgynites, old wise women, lady rockers, gender outlaws, the maladjusted, men who display emotion, the painfully anxious, the other half, other hairy sicilian (ok, you don't HAVE to be sicilian) women, nerdy awkward folks, people who think grammar and vocabulary are really sexy, people who will hang out with me and listen to old country music
other dawgs.
