Princess Bride and Sneakers are my top two favorites. Their genres are so different that neither can really take the slot.

Billy Joel, Acapella, Simon & Garfunkel, Showtunes, U2, Matchbox 20, Savage Garden, Melissa Etheridge, etc. . .

Don't watch much TV really, but I've been known to be something of a Trekkie and I also really like Babylon 5.

hear from most people is that I am intelligent. I am so
used to hearing it that I often
mention it when I introduce myself to people to save them
the trouble of stating the obvious. So yeah, I'm
brilliant. If you knew me you'd know that no modesty is
required.

I'm tall and blonde with blue eyes, but that doesn't save
me from looking like a geek most of the time. I shower and
wear deoderant, but other than hygenics I rarely make an
effort to improve my appearance. On rare occasions, I
clean up well.

My current interest is Cognitive Science, specifically the
fields of computational linguistics and metaphor analysis.
Eventually I hope to work on Artificial Intelligence for a
living.

I'm in a relationship right now, so I am interested in
meeting people for platonic reasons.

I am interested in people who can do one of two things:

1) Get me out of my house to do something interesting and
fun and not self-destructive (the difference between going
to the art museum of the insane and going to a rave and
dropping e).

2) Make me gald to stay in by providing hours of
intelligent and interesting conversation.

Or both, of course ;)

Lastly, if the best line you can come up with for meeting
me is 'Hey, um, what bands do you like?' you probably
shouldn't bother.
