About Me:
given the choice between a movie I've seen and one I haven't
seen, I try something new. I am wild enough to want the
novelty, but type A enough to want some level of order.
ask my friends what I am really like.
(or google for my online journal... and find out why friends
think my status should be listed as 'open marriage')

common. i last saw her when she came to
my office last year. it was around 2:00
(or maybe it was later with daylights
saving time). i still remember it
clearly. i was sitting at my desk
watching a stream of sunlight shine
through the feather on my pith helmet
when she walked in.. she looked the same
as i remembered her as she sat down and
put her sandaled feet on my desk,
hitting my stapler with her right boot.
i waited breathlessly for her to impart
some wisdom on me. "can i have the key
to the bathroom?" she replied. i tossed
her the key and that was the last time i
saw her. i hope she comes back too. i
really have to go...
always seems to be doing
something interesting. She's also
made the most original NIN
postcards that I've ever seen. And
have I mentioned her auspicious
birthdate? Quite auspicious, indeed.
I agree with Cos: Julia is far cooler
than she thinks she is. Which is
good, because if she went around
thinking she was as cool as she
really is, it might get to her head, and
that wouldn't be cool.
is one of the coolest people you'll
ever meet, period. Not in that "hey,
I'm so cool" way, but rather in the way
that after you've met her, you'll go
home and try to figure out what it was
about today that made you feel so
damned happy to be alive and bipedal.
On the other hand, if abundant wit,
love of (and spontaneous creation of)
fun, and The Cocked Eyebrow Of Doom are
turn-offs, then you should probably
forget her and sign up with match.com
or some such. Feh, good riddance, ya
poser.
Oh, and one other thing: To
successfully hit on Julia, you should
remember to say the words "I am hitting
on you now." I hear that's very
helpful.
spends a hell of a lot of time making
Somerville a much, much more interesting
place than it has any right to be.
creative women I know. She's always
got an opinion and is never afraid to
share her thoughts or her feelings on
any topic, a talent I envy. I'm
thrilled to count her among my friends
as she must up my coolness quotient by
a marked number.
