Who I Want to Meet:
people who like to be barefoot, or wear boots... people who like to climb trees, play in creeks or on railroad tracks... people who like to build stuff, break stuff, or help me fix my pachinko machine... people who own coloring books and button machines, power tools and computers....someone to keep me warm at night, or pay my heating bill.
being a super-clever-wit-job is a plus.

But I haven't talked to her in three years.
(miss you)
She never used to be a tree hugger, or
even like tree huggers...someone must
have slipped something into her peanut
butter.
she's super freaky ... and I mean that in
a good way.
internet boy and we were both going to
the millenium park and i said how will i
find you and he said look for the girl with
blue hair whose name is callie and i
said okay but when i got to the
bandshell there were easily a million
and a half people even though it was
only tortoise playing but there was only
one manga-looking girl with blue hair
and she knew the guy i was talking
about even though she said he was sort
of slutty but in a ncie way and i have
since then run into her a few other times
like at joanna newsom and you know
callie is pretty cool and she stands out
in a crowd
whiskey-drinking, tall-boot-wearing
ovary is ALL RIGHT.
has a triple role: to augment the
alphabet, to repeat something without
the aid of rhetoric, to trap things in a
double cipher.
at Sub-T with two guys, all of them on laptops,
mixing music. The place was off in their own damn
world, dumnshits that they were, but I was
immediately caught up in it. We played a show at
The Hard Rock together, happily pissing off the
management by not being mainstream, and then
more or less lost touch for awhile. Until! I walked
into my local watering hole and there she was. We
drank, we talked. We stay in touch now. She's got
a badass brain and her eyes sort of let on that she
knows something most others don't. Let's hope so.
The world might be better for it.
convinced she is always at least 3
minutes ahead of everyone. She is a
blue haired japanmation real life super
heroine that never sleeps... I'm
scrabbling to keep up with her as she
rides by in a flash with her sling shot in
her back pocket ready to courageously
shoot grapes at SUV's. And those big
blue innocent eyes! She can not be
caught. There might even be more than
one Callie, I think there are at least ten. I
have to arm wrestle her once a year and
I'm very very afraid.
