School. He always has my back and
he's there through the good and bad
times. I just want to thank God that
one of the best things I ever did was
to fail advance algebra during junior
year. Because I got the chance to
know this guy during summer school
taking Advance Algebra 1 & 2 at lowell
hs in the summer of '93. Mr. Addis is
the bomb! I just want to thank you
for everything and for the things you
said the night before I left for LA.
I hope you know that if there's
anything you need, you can definitely
count on me! I'm very impressed with
the many languages you know. I swear
all these years you're Chinese and not
        Japanese. haha!

      • passion... if there's one word, that's
it. Drew gives his 100% in all that he
does whether it's in ministry, his
devotional life or his commitment to
        his friends. being the techie-junkie
that i am, i'm always hittin' him up
        for pocket pc advice.. ;0)

techie toy crashed together in a world
disaster, Drew would emerge from the
        ashes. Just yesterday over the
        internet Drew gave me detailed
instructions on how to get to Kyobbo
Bookstore in Seoul, South Korea --
sitting at his computer in SF! He's
also guided me via cell phone to the
bus station in Boston, instructed me
out of a scary NY bus terminal at 1
a.m., rescued me when I had a flat
outside of Stanford, and gave my
        Japanese-Brazilian friend a tour of
SF. All that to say, Drew is one of
those friends I'll never leave behind --
not only because he is so fun and
handy, but because he is a true friend
and brother in Christ. I can be
totally honest about my struggles with
Drew and count on his support and
        prayers.

who is not himself mean, who is neither
tarnished nor afraid. The DREWNAMIS is
such a man, and with his great power
comes his great responsibility. He is
the hero, he is everything. He must be
a complete man and a common man and yet
an unusual man. He must be, to use a
rather weathered phrase, a man of
honor -- by instinct, by inevitability,
without thought of it, and certainly
without saying it. If he is a man of
honor in one thing, he is that in all
things. He must be the best man in his
world and a good enough man for any
        world.

He is a relatively poor man, or he
would not be a missionary at all. He
is a common man or he could not go
among common people. He has a sense of
character, or he would not know his
job. He will take no man's money
        dishonestly and no man's insolence
        without a due and dispassionate
revenge. He is a lonely man and his
pride is that you will treat him as a
proud man or be very sorry you ever saw
him. He talks as the man of his age
talks -- that is, with a rude wit, a
lively sense of the grotesque, a
disgust for sham, and a contempt for
        pettiness.

        Drew's testimony is this man's
adventure in search of a hidden truth,
and it would be no adventure if it did
not happen to a man fit for adventure.
He has a range of awareness that
startles you, but it belongs to him by
right, because it belongs to the world
he lives in. If there were enough like
him, the world would be a very safe
place to live in, without becoming too
dull to be worth living in.

      • Drew's like a five year old that has to
have his hands in a little bit of
everything. He's seriously got to be
one of the most eclectic guys I know...
but in the end, the short of it is-
he's truly a man after God's own heart.

proceeded to deprive me of sleep until
I could say, "I was born a waitress".
If it was anyone else...@$#$ But who
can ever hold anything against Drew?
        Only and always quintessentially

there for you when in a pinch. He
speak just about every Asian language
known to man. He likes to keep people
guessing on whether or not he'll be
        full-bearded Drew, goatee Drew, or
        clean-shaven Drew.

points, he evolved into Yoshi. When
Yoshi got enough experience points, he
evolved into Drew. At this point, Drew
probably still has some evolving to do
but he is quite powerful in his current
form. Drew fights for good, so that is
good. He's also one of my oldest
schoolest buds so that is good too.
