Jesse McCartney (born April 9, 1987) is an American pop singer songwriter and Daytime Emmy-nominated actor. McCartney initially came to fame in the early 2000s, as a member of the boy band Dream Street, and subsequently branched out into a solo career, having appeared on the television series Summerland. McCartney was born in Westchester, New York, USA,[1] to Scott and Ginger McCartney. His maternal grandparents are Dick and Joyce Sarber, from Mendocino County, California.[2] McCartney is a born-again Christian.[3] In 1988, his family relocated to Ardsley, Westchester County, New York, where he grew up with one brother, Timothy ("Timmy") Glover Mark McCartney (born December 20, 1996) and one sister, Lea Joyce McCartney (born July 7, 1991).Hey people! Jesse A. McCartney here! Dude, it's a long name. Anyway, my buds and family had given me lots of nicknames: Jmac,Jester, orange boy,J. (pick 1),just so you know, I am a normal teenager, just one that works in the professional world.
Singing is all me and I've worked hard for the things I'm having right now. I always consider myself blessed because I've accomplished a lot. I follow no guide lines when I'm on stage. I'm a sincere person, The eyes don't lie. There's something that goes on with the eyes and the sincerity of the person. Luckily I have that knack, which is good because that stuff happens in the business.I'm not a phony-friendly guy and I'm usually very quiet and not a big laugher, so some people might take that for rudeness and being mean.
