for over 3 years now....and roomies for
exactly 3 years. What keeps us going,
you ask? Aside from my insane hours
working on a porn movie and hardly
seeing each other......Monica is a good
listener, a great friend, and we can
always agree on what movie to watch.
So that's it....she's cool. It's Olive

friendship with monica... she has a
glowing presence about her that just
makes everyone around her happy
and the girl can make you laugh yer
ass off, she does have a tendency to
reveal her very individual experience
of the world and make me say "what
the hell are you talking about??" but
she is always there to obsess over
things with me (like buffy and
mariokart !!) and she is immensly
talented and beautiful and so damn
dilligent and just plain super and a
great person to weather a hurricane
with, take that Issabel!
and puts everyone at ease. I was
immediately drawn to her (No Pun
Intended), and then I find out that she is
producing her own comics! She is a
pleasure to talk to, and has multi-tiered
interests in fantasy as well as reality. She
loves people who have a wide array of
personalities, and her closest friends reflect
this - for they are among the most excellent
of people. Modest, but beautifully
photogenic, Monica is a girl you want to buy
a private jet for in order to spend more time
with her. Why MD?

small press comic convention, and I
caught her in a wash of emotion as she
was excited, bashful, and soooo cute
all at the same time.
Ed and I later met Monica and her pals,
all of whom are beautiful people
(literally...it's like a tv show...ALL
of them are like 90210 attractive...)
and we deemed them "the cool kids".
So whenever there was a break, like for
meals and to see where the parties
were, we just scanned the crowd for the
cool kids, and made our way over.
We came away from the convention with
some great contacts, most notably
Monica of the Red Lips.
Incredibly talented, with an eye for
myth and legend, Monica's the one to
watch!
when I would bake cookies to lure
her and her cronies to my mom's
house on friday night. She always
managed to maintain her marvelous
red lipstick, even while devouring
cookies. She is also a good partner
for seeing girly movies with--cause
she's a girl! Wow! Keep on keepin'
on, Monica.
Monica, the girl with the bright red
lipstick? She makes outrageously witty
comments at the drop of a hat,
including, "That's not a placemat,"
and "Guys, i told you to stop fiddling
with your drumsticks," and many many
more. i'm sorry, actually that last
quote is from this really great episode
of Hee-Hah. The best part about Monica
really IS the red lipstick. She just
keeps on wearing it!! At night time,
she strips it down and i swear she's a
whole new person, but come morning,
she's back and on like a light! Monica
appreciates the absurdity of just about
any situation. Sometimes, she'll
continually mutter to herself, "This is
absurd. This...is simply absurd!" only
she pronounces the "s" in "absurd" like
a "z" just to add to the confusion.
That's Monica, and I think she's
terrific!

She's a lot of fun to be with and
loves to laugh. I have so much fun
just chattin on IM with her and I hate
that I can't chat at work anymore. I
am so glad you have been such good
friends with Dan all these years and
that I was able to get back in
touch!!! Keep the happiness alive!!

are as warped as mine. We share a
deep passion for fruit snacks and
celebrity gossip and love to compete
over everything from cups of coffee to
birth weights. She definitely makes
the work day go by faster with her
quick wit and her ability to amuse me
with random thoughts and instant
messages. If I had to recommend one
person to take to Starbucks, it would
be Monica.
moved in together like a month after we
met 2.5 years ago..hoping we'd be a
good match for each other. And guess
what!?!?!?!? I couldn't have found a
more perfect roomie. I introduced her
to chocolate and dessert and she
introduced me to hair dye, cool movies,
and christopher pike. HOORAY FOR
ROOMATES!!! munka rocks!!!
